The Descriptive Psychology Institute (DPI) exists to make widely available powerful and practical methods that are informed by Descriptive Psychology.
Descriptive Psychology as an intellectual discipline is deeply connected to human competence. Its conceptual framework derives from articulating the competence of persons living as persons in a world of persons and their ways. Utilizing this conceptual framework can increase the competence of persons in many areas of endeavor.
DPI is comprised of Centers, each of which is a community of practitioners whose practice is significantly informed by Descriptive Psychology. You are invited to explore any of the Centers to see if its area of focus is of interest or of use to you.
Our focus is practical, integrative and creative. You don't need to be proficient in Descriptive Psychology to get value from the Centers' dialogues or publications ; you just need to be a person interested in becoming even better at what you are doing.
